Hey friends! 🙂 I hope you all had a fabulous holiday weekend! I got to spend the weekend with friends, family, my hubby and 2 out of 3 kids. I call that a win! However, I didn’t spend ALL weekend with the kiddos. Scott and I did manage to get some alone time where we didn’t have to think about anyone else but ourselves.
That part was escaping to one of my favourite places in Ottawa. Nordik Spa Nature. I got to go enjoy alcoholic beverages while sitting in a hot tub. I got to have lunch in my robe with amazing friends. I got to play sudoku, sitting by a crackling fire. If you live in the Ottawa area, you should definitely check it out. They add on to this place year after year and make it so much better. As if it could get better! This is not an ad haha. I just love it so so much!
Now for the good stuff
On Sunday, I managed to squeeze in a little try on session while the kiddos were sleeping. Scroll down to each photo to see all the details, fit and if it came home with me! Some of the items are repeats on the photos so just find the item where it was first posted and the info will all be there. All of these items are from Old Navy with the exception of the purse on the floor. I still linked if for you at the bottom.
Weight: 188… post baby weight! Sticking like glue!
Regular Top Size: M/L
Regular Pant Size: 10/12
I love this look and wore it to Thanksgiving dinner with the fam jam on Monday. I saw this combo worn on Lynzy and Co.‘s Insta stories the other day. I won’t take credit for the styling cause that was alllll her. Still, is this not the most comfy pumpkin patch hunting, apple picking outfit ever?
Tank: It’s under 20 bucks and it’s so comfy. That’s all.
Plaid Top: I recommend sizing up if you want a relaxed look or you want it for layering. I got a Large, and since right now my bust is a little on the bigger side, the buttons would have tugged if I tried to button up a medium.
Jeans: You’ve seen the mom levis that’s been in everyone’s shopping cart lately? Well these are half the price. They stretch. Unlike the levis and the rise is high enough to not leave you with that dreaded muffin top.
Boots: The stitching did leave me with a little redness on the ankle but since it was just on the right leg, I’m sure it’s just a defect. Other than that, they are uber comfy and the heel height is perfect for moms who want that extra length but can’t afford higher heels for everyday wear.
Cardigan: I feel like I live in cardigan these days and this one is a good price! I wish it had pockets though. This did not make it to the shopping cart but I did find another version in navy that I love HERE. It’s available in 5 other colours.
Hat: Super cute and comes in 8 colours. Everyone needs a beanie for winter
Jeans: I love these and have been wearing them non stop. Here’s my problem. I am sorta curvy but not curvy enough to shop plus size. I need jeans that look like jeans, not jeggings. I can’t have my pants riding up my behind like a 16 year old. But I do need them to have some stretch so I can run after my kids! These are super cute, cuts right at the ankle so they don’t bunch up and I’m obsessed with the distressed detailing at the bottom. These def came home with me!

Sweater: I was disappointed with this one. Despite the comfy look, this sweater was stiff and I would have had to size up to fit comfortably. I was a fan of the pattern though.
Blouse: I used this blouse as a filler to make the look but I’m not a fan of the old navy dress shirts. I find them a little thin. I’d rather invest in a tommy or calvin gap blouse for sure.
Skinnies: (I couldn’t find the link to the olive colour but I linked the exact same pair in black. You might be able to find it in store.) I needed another colour of pants for the fall and these were perfect! I have another pair in white but I have retired those for the winter. They feel like butter! And the stretch… girllllllll?! The best.

Hope you enjoyed this haul! Let me know which stores you’d like me to do try ons in and I’ll do my best to GET IT DONE! Putting outfits together in the dressing room really helps to answer the burning question of “Will I ever wear this in real life?”
